Product Description

Can’t make it out for a field trip? Want to conduct your own experiment with scientific tools you just don’t have? Let Cal Alive! Activities help you out!

Cal Alive! Activities is full of interactive virtual experiments, stories, games, and field trips. Find out what’s behind recent declines in Sierra Nevada frog populations. Locate the ideal habitat for the Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse by testing soil salinity. And see what happens to various bird populations when food supply, predation, and human impact are altered.

Teachers: With four interactive experiments, three in-depth stories, five different California-based games, and fifteen virtual field trips throughout the state, Cal Alive! Activities will engage students of all levels in doing science on the screen. As always, Cal Alive! Activities is aligned with California State Standards.
